Norad Vehicle Processing Facility

ACC was the Construction Manager/Design Builder for the new $3 million-dollar, 30,000 square foot vehicle processing facility for North Atlantic Distribution Inc. (NORAD), located at the Port of Davisville in Rhode Island. Design and engineering services included submissions to the State of RI Building Commission, the Quonset Development Corporation, the US Department of the Navy, RI Department of Environmental Management and the RI Coastal Resource Management Council.  

NORAD is one of the largest auto importers in North America, serving as a port of entry, processing center and distribution hub for imported and domestic vehicles such as Audi/VW, BMW, Porshe, Volkswagen, Bentley and Subaru. This new facility supplements their existing 150,000 square foot facility that prepares and transports over 200,000 new vehicles to dealers annually.

Subsequent to this project, ACC completed a new processing center for Porsche, completed in 2020 at the cost of $3.15M.
